Grade 5 titanium bar
Ti-6Al-4V round bar, 6–160 mm, annealed or solution treated and aged.
Grade 5 accounts for roughly half of all titanium in use. It holds its strength to 400 °C and machines predictably, which is why airframe and fastener buyers specify it by default.
Delivery condition
Bar is supplied annealed unless the order says otherwise. Solution treated and aged material is available above 12 mm and raises tensile strength to about 1100 MPa at the cost of some elongation.
What ships with it
Every lot carries an EN 10204 3.1 certificate with the heat number, full chemistry and mechanical results.
